WHERE WE WORK
Rubirizi District; USCR works with Rubirizi District sickle cell and disability association to support people
living with sickle cell together with their familes.

 
Nakasongola District; Following an outreach activity organised by Simba FM where we screened the
population for sickle cell disease. USCR created a network of people who we support with medication.

 
Manafwa district; working with the district Local council chairperson we are support a network of
people who are living and battling with sickle cell disease. These people are constantly challenged by the
poor road networks coupled with the long distances to the health centres

 
Gulu and Nwoya district; we are working with parent groups of children living with sickle cell disease in
these areas to promote their inclusion into the communities.

 
Jinja and Iganga districts; we are working with parents groups of children living with sickle cell disease
to promote awareness and sensitisation of sickle cell disease.
