Mr. Daniel Roy O’dur

Executive Director

Ms. Tracy Balita Nagawa

Deputy Executive Director

With a bachelor’s degree in Adult and Community Education and expertise in the management of sickle cell illness, Nagawa Tracy serves as the organization’s programs officer.

In 2013, when UASCRF was still in its infancy, I joined as a volunteer. Later, I underwent training in the management and counseling of sickle cell disease, and for the next five years, I worked for the organization as a project officer and counselor.

I was given the responsibility of leading the organization’s Ag Executive Director in 2019 and was given the following responsibilities: developing business plans, managing daily operations, enhancing performance, developing organizational culture, overseeing department heads, reporting on revenue, and directing organizational strategy. I was also tasked with leading and influencing our organization towards favorable growth and designing and directing strategies that support and enhance our organizational operations, managing company assets, and managing company assets.

As the programs officer in 2022, I coordinate program creation, solicit grants and proposals, handle finances, and manage projects. These are crucial tasks for a foundation or nonprofit organization.

I make sure the company’s initiatives and programs line up with the objectives and mission of any foundation or NGO.

I assist the secretariat in regular coordination with the ministry of health and other stakeholders, coordinating with the partners, supervising and supporting field activities, monitoring, documenting, and reporting, as well as any other tasks and responsibilities delegated by the UASCRF that fall within my area of expertise and experience.

I have also served as a counselor for Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL), a group that works with young people who are drug addicts and prostitutes.
