Hajji Hassan Nakabaale


He is the Director of Corporate and Public Affairs at the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (URBRA), a National agency responsible for regulating, supervising, and promoting the Development of the retirement benefits sector in Uganda. He brought his vast experience in Corporate Communication, Public relations & Media Relation Strategies, Communication Policy & Advocacy, Press Conference Planning and implementation, Protocol matters, Digital Media Promotion & Consultancy, Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Mobilization & Sensitization.   

Before joining URBRA, he worked as a Senior Private Secretary to H.E., the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda. He held several managerial positions in the Statehouse‚Äôs Directorates of Economic Affairs, Investment Affairs, ICT, and Political Affairs. Read More

Nakabaale is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) of the United Kingdom, a Fellow of the Global Academy of Finance & Management (GAFM) of the United States of America, a UK Certified Public Relations Analyst (CPRA), an affiliation of the University of Nairobi in Kenya and an alumnus of the Institute Leadership & Management in Quebec, Montreal in Canada.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Information Technology (B.IT) from Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. He is a member of the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU), the umbrella body for professional Communicators and PR practitioners for both public & private sectors in Uganda.

He is a distinguished Rotarian at a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) Level and a Life Member of the Red Cross Society of Uganda. Hassan has participated in several National Corporate Social Responsibility programs, including constructing the Blood Bank house at Mengo Hospital (the second biggest in the country) and constructing the Cancer Unit at Nsambya Hospital.
