Sickle cell awareness and advocacy involve a wide range of activities aimed at improving the lives of individuals with sickle cell disease (SCD) and their families. These efforts are often driven by patient advocacy groups, non-profit organizations, and professional medical societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
